It depends on your definition of an oxymoron. Can black sometimes be white or is there a gray area in your question here?
Still a very good question to ask!

You really never can answer that because in our maturity level we can grow through stages thinking we are doing the right thing but it can still be wrong, and times we think we are doing the wrong and it's right!

Umm, that is hard one.  I suppose one can say a wrong thing is still wrong and motivation is no excuse. There has to be exception to that I would guess.  Give me a scenario.

Is it really the wrong thing if you employ the right reasoning?

Depends upon the weight age of the situation. It is always not true. We need to think of the weight.

I would advise that we keep in mind that we pay for all our actions.  If you know something is wrong you shuold not do it or one day you will pay for that particular action.  I believe in karma and the way it works is you may get away this life, but the next birth you have to pay.  That is what is nice about karma it is fair in the long run everyone gets what they deserve.
