Asherah - wife of the Yaweh: God of the Hebrews. Information sought.

Has anyone come across the name Asherah? This was reputedly the name of Yaweh's wife: the name relates to the Canaanite goddess Astarte - Queen of the Sky (Venus). Apparently an idol depicting Asherah stood in the Temple of Solomon for 240 years of its 360 years existence. Any info anyone? Info about source material (and where to find it) would be received most gratefully. Cheers.

    Briefly, God, Is.

He hath no Equal, nor any Relatives, wife, or sons.

Angels are not Daughters of God ... but his Servants.

All the Revealed Scriptures, are from, God ...

The Arabic Word for Peace ... Is Islam ...

She was considered a Goddess in ancient christian texts however was eventually wiped away from them completely. She is the goddess of the sea. This link might help you out.
