Jasper...why would you think ghosts are fallen angels?
Do you know exactly what Fallen Angels are? I'm not being sarcastic, but not all "ghosts" are demonic in nature....
Qualities of an angel:
1. they are supernatural beings
2. they can fly
3. they are referred to be in the side of good
Qualities of a ghost:
1. they are supernatural beings
2. they can fly
3. they are known to be scary
haha..i know it's a childlike view but I think it makes sense..^^
Good one. You know, the Nephalim were the Sons of God, Fallen Angels who came to earth and found the daughters of men to be attractive and took them as mates. The Nephalim are responsible for showing men how to tool weapons from metals and such. Remember, there was war in Heaven first.
And all because God created man in His image.
Amuntakare, you are spot on and what you say is in the Book of Enoch. For example --- "Then I said: 'For what sin are they bound, and on what account have they been cast in hither?' Then said Uriel, one of the holy angels, who was with me,..."

First and foremost I believe in Jesus as our Saviour and the son of God.
Angels are real beings created by God. It's very difficult to say what ghosts are, but they surely are not fallen angels. If interested check out one of the dead sea scrolls, The Book of Enoch. Although this book is not in the Bible, Enoch is Noah's great grandfather.
Enoch is mentioned mostly in the book of Genisis and is obviously a respected person.
Hebrews 11:5 --- By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.”
So, the Bible establishes Enoch as favored by God ... enough so that Enoch did not experience death, but instead God took him away never to be seen again. Now if God loves Enoch so much, Enoch must have something important for us to know. This website provides the book for free of which I purchased & read: http://www.heaven.net.nz/writings/thebookofenoch.htm

A common interpretation of Genesis 6 is that 'fallen angels' mated with women. This idea also occurs in alchemy. Presumably, it appears in other religions/mythologies?

Any thoughts about the Book of Enoch? I've just started reading - the angels who came to earth and procreated with human women are in big trouble and I've just read pages and pages on the horrible punishment God has in store for them.Does anyone have a good knowledge of this text? I'm getting...
