What do you want to do before you die?
Mine includes conquering fears(or at least facing them). So, here are mine Sky diving (because I am so scared of heights), visit Paris, Africa, etc(I wanna go every where!), have kids (also very scary!) learn several languages fluently and live on in a beach town and support myself writing while drinking rum or tequila or what ever the local drink is!
I don't wish for many things. I want to be immortal and then die!
Immortal and then die...?
Honestly, how much time do you have? I'm a pretty ambitious guy - perhaps overly ambitious, but I prefer adventurous - so there are a lot of things I'd like to do. I certainly want to see more of the world (ideally, I'd like to have lived - at least briefly - on every continent), and I really need to learn a second/third/fourth language. It's pretty embarrassing that I left Korea only knowing a handful of terms (hello, goodbye, thank-you, don't do that!, etc.), so I'm determined to pick up the first language of anywhere I am in the future.
In addition, as I mentioned in another of your questions, owning a restaurant is certainly up there. My partner is very much against the idea (thank-you, Gordon Ramsay), so we'll have to see - perhaps we can negotiate and do some sort of cafe/bakery. She loves her baked goods, and as you know, I love my coffee...
And, of course - the dream of all Hubbers - I would like to be published.
Beyond it all though, I just want to be happy. And I certainly don't need to achieve it all for that (though I still intend to).
Josh, I def understand. And getting published is WAY easier than you think check out http://www.iwantabuzz.com/jacksonville- … ine/201102 (page 21) No ads, just a link to an article I wrote that I am pretty proud of. (It is framed and in a few clubs where the group performs....)
Travel to at least the handful of overseas locations on my list (Rome, Egypt, etc.), complete a doctoral degree, and learn at least one foreign language.
I want to see my children happy and settled, visit New York and Australia, make enough money to live in the country. I would love to set up some sort of centre in the country to help injured wildlife and rescue as many battery hens as I can.
All that I can possibly imagine. The sky is not my limit...I am!
Purchase a ranch with horses and a few other animals...with a garden so that I can enjoy this with my grandchildren and any other children who need or want a different kind of experience. My grandson would really like to live on a ranch and have his own horse.
There are a number of things I intend to do prior to leaving this physical realm. One is to raft down the Nile River and the other is to sail other rivers that produced great civilizations.
To take a promise from the almighty GOD not to send me again in this world where there is no value of a human being except money and money.
Build an empire, that lives as long as the planet. I want the best of my dreams and ideals to live on through others and their friends and families. This is how to be imortal as a human. I want people telling my story as one of the greatest ever told while I am alive and then when I die I want the story to become the next generation of myth and legend.

Would you rather be immortal or know exactly when you will die?The answer might seem obvious, but the more I think about it the less certain I am!
