    hopefully more positive outweighs the rest and gives a bright opinion on life...its when a person cannot find the brightness that auses the opinion to turn dark and sad

    That depends  on which way he (or she) is bent from the beginning.

    Some people are driven by their experiences, much as the floating leaf is driven down the river, in which case the experience factor will forge one's outlook without much if any resistance.  Others, however, take the experience as it comes and in extreme cases even shape the experience to produce something magical.

    Every experience is filtered through the individual consciousness, each of which is as unique (if not more so) than a single snowflake. 

    Take for example two sisters (and yes, I do have a true life case history in mind) who were both petite, attractive, and sexually abused for years by their father.  One sister chose to love the father regardless, married and raised a strong family of her own, and even became a licensed (and highly skilled) licensed pharmacologist.  The other hooked up with the Hell's Angels, became deeply addicted to heroin, and took her own life at age 31 after posting more than 200 flyers in their hometown outing that same father for what he'd done.

    Clearly, our opinions are affected by our life experiences.  Yet, at least in some cases, are not our life experiences affected by our opinions?

    Indeed, so it would seem.
