   Who is this God person?
   
   I have always asked myself: "Do I have to believe in God." If you do believe, please tell me what makes you believe in him!

   I do believe that there is a god out there.  Here is one interesting story for you that I have.  In February 2003 I was in the Marines getting ready to get sent into Kuwait for the invasion of Iraq.  Right before we are checking in to the check-in station and there must have been at least 1000 of us waiting to get checked in.  Well as we are walking I was approached by a little girl that must have been 8 or 9 years old and handed me a bible.
   
   To make a long story short while we were in Iraq our platoon was at the perimieter of the camp that we were gaurding and we were told that we could either back our gear right then and there or go to sleep and wake up early to pack up.  Well I decided that I didnt want to wake up early, so I started packing my gear and then for some reason I decided that I would just wait for the morning and finish packing.  I opened my bible and laid down to read for some reason.  This was the first time I actually ever opened the bible to read it while I was in Iraq.  Not even 5 minutes later shots are fired and when they stopped I got up to see what had happened.  It turns out that 3 shots went straight through my tent and I actually would have got shot 3 times in the back and probably would have been killed.  I do think that there is a god out there and I think more so when you come that close to being killed.  It really gives you a wake up call and makes you think about a lot of stuff.

   I do believe that there is a God out there as a person and his name is Krsna.  I did my share of research and studying and that is the conclusion I came out with.  I am happy to share this with you because I was really happy when I found Krsna. 
   Krsna is considered the supreme personalityof Godhead by some and for good reason.  One reason is Krsna is the main speaker of the Bhagavad-Gita the 5,000 plus year old Hindu text and he declares that he is the original personality of Godhead.  Other great sages agree with this analysis and support the scriptures. 
   
   The numerous stories about Krsna  are so fantastic that you would want to believe that he is the Supreme Personality of GodHead.
   
   If you get a chance read Bagavad-Gita As It Is by A.C. Bhaktivadanta Swami Prabhupada.

   To understand the psychology of a Saint, one must understand his Divine status.
   Firstly, while a soul is under the rule and command of maya (the illusion of world which makes firm decision in minds of people that there is happiness in world), a Saint is above the rule and command of maya, and God is the commander and the Master of maya. read more

   I always have believed in God, the one that I read in the bible. I don't know about anyone else but I think in each religion, their God is just what they say, God. I think in the end it all winds up to be a supreme being that we just can't imagine. The reason I believe is because when I sit outside in nature, I see a world that has to have been created and for me that means there has to be a creator. So I try to keep it simple.
