Easter is of pagan origin. God said we should not follow anything of pagan origin. There is no verse in the Bible that we should follow the pagans.
In 1 Cor. 11:25-26, Jesus said, "This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in rememberance of me. (26) For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come."
Whenever we partake of the Holy Communion, we remember Jesus and what He did for us dying on the Cross for our sins.

John 20:9 "(They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)" (NIV)
Easter isn't Pagan, This is the first time I'm hearing That...I believe in the Holy communion and His resurrection.
Remember Thomas who didn't believe this, that the other disciples have seen Jesus after they couldn't find his body in the tomb. "A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."
Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." (John20:26-29).
"But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." (John20:31)

As Christians: Those of us that are Christian, We are all aware of the first coming of Jesus as a baby. There is nothing to dispute about this. We are also aware of His crucifixion and resurrection. Here come the mirky part for me. Mary Magdelene goes to Jesus tomb and discovers it empty. She sees...

How can you explain resurrection to young children? As a child I found the idea scary. As a parent I am not sure how to explain it to my children. Any ideas?

Do you think we will still be married in Heaven? For those that actually believe in Heaven. Do you believe that you will continue to stay married to your current, or previous spouse? Or do we forget that once we reach Heaven?

I often feel like my Grandmother is still here with me, walking the halls and just being near. Is this allowed by GOD?
