Most people are actually good and wish to do good?
or people tend to behave as they are taught - by religion, politics and peers
I believe that most people are good and wish to do good, but that they also define good by what they are taught. The concept of "good" is not genetic or hardwired into us, it is based on the socialization we underwent as we grew.
Good and bad are a matter of opinion. Whats good to one may be bad to another. There is no true measure of good or bad. Both are illusions in the human mind.
Most people have empathy and try to do good. But empathy is easy to break, and people do cruel things. It isn't that neither good nor evil exists within us, it's that both exist.
