That's simple...We're all idiots when it comes to "praying" for mercy. The word mercy was conjured up by man and man alone.
Neither Mother Nature and/or all of the thousands of gods we've also conjured up over the millennia had, have, or will have the slighest spec of mercy and when it comes right down to it, mankind hasn't got a whole hell of a lot of it either...
