Is it accurate to say that Christianity and Islam are branches of Judaism?
Who are the "Gentiles" Paul refers to when he says that Peter separated from them when other Jewish followers of Christ appeared?
Certainly, Christianity and Islam are both rooted in Judaism.
I'm not sure, but believe that 'Gentiles' was a term long before Christianity and was used for followers of other belief systems outside of Judaism.
