If the Pastor of a church as a domineering spiritual gift, should his team be just like him?
I've had some experience with such priests. Those who feel a need to be domineering in their work are not using a spiritual gift. They are compensating for their personal weaknesses and insecurities. They're better seen as what they are, bullies who have found a privileged position from which to play out their character flaws in an authoritarian manner. You don't want one in your church. You don't want a staff browbeaten into acting as if it supports such behavior. You want to get rid of that preacher, post haste, because his reign there ultimately will be destructive.
