How do you interpret Revelations 6:10
Do the dead know what is happening on earth.
Would avenge be to punish the ones in the fault? Would avenge be to bring to pass what these Saints prayed for, spoke about, stood for, and turned the other cheek for?
What would we find the satisfying result to be, God punishing everyone that opposed our message? Or God completing the manifestation that He had so lavished on us, the hope that made us not ashamed.
As much as I like seeing my enemy's get there due, if what I stood for in my life doesn't come to completion, then my life is still not been avenged.
The dead know nothing, because they are spiritually dead. Their spiritual "eyes to see" and "ears to hear" were dull, and could not see or hear the spiritual message that is urgently being sent to them.
"And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:" - Revelation 6:9
The holy men and women, a sea of glass, an innumerable amount of people are at the throne of God right now. They are "asleep", because they find rest in God who gives them peace, and a reprieve from the sins of the world.
Psalm 23!
And yet the martyrs (those whom have died for their faith in Jesus) "How long (conceiving time) O Lord, holy and true, until You avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" (conceiving injustice) I believe it is a matter of holy perspective.
How long will God wait to punish the spiritual crimes that cause people to spiritually die, by spreading lies about God and the bible? This is what "the saints" yearn for: An end to spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12).
"9 And when he had opened the Fifth Seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held:" Were not these the martyrs, the souls who cried out to God long after they had been slain
Yes, they are.
This format is severely limiting. Maybe there is some other way we can communicate for a better understanding of what we are trying to tell each other? I have a suspicion that something is being "lost in translation".

The Book of Revelation is the most contraversial book in the Bible! For many people it is written in a literal language that means everything in the book will happen as it is said. Others take a more Figurative/Historical view of the book meaning the book was written in a way that it would get past...
