When the bible is silent on an issue we have to judge it by other methods.
1 Corinthians 10:23 says - "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify."
God's freedom states that what is not prohibited is allowed. The Bible also states that we are to obey the legal constituted authorities. Between those two are the freedoms that we enjoy, but as Paul noted, what is allowed may not be what is good.
Religion should be the last place you look to make such an important decision in your life. Can you afford to raise a child? Do you want a child? Will you ever want a child? What does your partner think of this decision? There is no reason to consult an imaginary friend.
Errrr...jonsey.... the question is about a "Christian." That presupposes that religion is the first place they look for important decisions in their life. If you don't like that it is okay, but you don;'t get to change the question to suit yourself

I have enjoyed many "debates" with folks here on the Hub, but in the long run, its seems those that believe still believe and those that don't still don't. Why is this?Could it be, Christians, that we allow the nay-sayers to have their say while we are trying to not be...
