What do YOU think that the world will be like in the 22nd century?
Great question - one one hand I say there will be so many technological advancements people will stay home and not want to experience any part of the world because they can see it from their home. On the other hand I say people will eventually want to explore the world more - moving away from their televisions (which is taken over by reality shows), getting active and doing more family things. I think this world will become more spiritual and embrace people more - loving them because of who they are and not how they look, the car they drive, the money they make, etc.
Yippie - Thanks gmwilliams- a great answer for a great question - keep hubbing :-)
I agree with the above answer. I think that technology will have so many advances, that we may eventually be able to just work from home and basically do everything from home. There will probably be no need for business offices anymore. I also think that children being raised in the 22nd century will never know what it's like growing up without a t.v. , phone, computer; that is all that they will ever know. Groceries and lifestyle luxuries such as clothing, etc., will probably be even more expensive than they are now. Eventually, there may not even be stores to go into to shop and buy groceries. It could all potentially be done online and delivered right to your doorstep. Service with a smile!
We will have more GMOs
Shorelines will be pushed further back
More people will have home gardens due to high prices for food & weather extremes
China may be even more of a world leader
Canada will enjoy more immigration
So fast forward 87 to 186 years? Well I'll tell you this.
No new species of animals will have "evolved" from any existing species, the human race will still be as depraved and sinful as it is today, Barrack Obama will be dead and General Motors will be a dive...if the world even exists as it does today. And if it does it will be in terrible shape economcally, socially and politically while the whole world will still be blaming George W.Bush.
Yep...it was his ALL HIS FAULT! To bad they did not blame him while he was the president, instead of putting him on a pedestal like they did during his time in office!
It would be pretty amazing if a new species did evolve into it's own disparate form in 87 to 18 years, might be tie to get around to "On the origin of the species" .
Frankly I wonder civilization as we know it will exist in the 22nd century. This is the kalaYuga as mentioned in the Gita and must end. I cant say it will be the 22nd century.
The KalaYuga?? The Giita? What the hay are you talking about?
I do not think we will make it! I doubt the world will here in it's current condition..We will either self destruct or Christ will finally return!
