   My understanding - and that's only a mental one - is that they are like angels, only much more powerful. They carry messsages from us to God and from God to us. They are like emissaries or protectors, if you like.

      Your speaking as there are multiple archangels.. I've heard there's only one archangel, Michael. Did I get the wrong information?

      There are seven archangels.  Lucifer, of course, was the most powerful.

      How can Lucifer be stronger than michael? I've been told that michael is another name of Jesus.

      Everything is wrong without experience. What does it matter if I can read the whole bible and know about love, but do not feel same in my heart? Follow the way of the child: purity, spontaneity, innocence, all-embracing ... then you will find peace.

      Jesus has plenty of names, I'm pretty sure that Michael is not one of them...

      Thank you for giving me 'best answer'. My take is that you are a good person. Try not to get too involved with metaphysical stuff. Love God, serve and above all pray devotedly. Rely on God with an intense faith and 'cry' to Him. Much Love.
