    Are there real healing/spiritual qualities to shamanism?

    Are there modern day shamans? Does anyone believe shamans have anything positive/real to offer in the "modern world"?

    I have no real authority on this kind of stuff but I feel that modern shamans try to revive the old ways with newer and sometimes safe technologies. As far as spiritualism goes it is what you make of it. If you believe in it, it will work.

      Thank you for your answer. I've always wondered of the healing/spiritual qualities of shamanism. It would be interesting to go back in time and observe one of their rituals.
