   Just like stage magic, black magic is an illusion that attempts to create fear or doubt in the minds of those that are looking for something, but they are not sure what it is.

      I beg to differ Amigo. How much research have You done on black magic? I know You are well versed in governmental issues, the oil industry and such things but real magic (not the entertainment type) ...

      I do not have to be well versed. I know there is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and I know there is no such thing as black magic. I do know that the fear people create with the illusion of black magic can be harmful.

   The impact is proportionally related to the power and intent of the person performing the magic. There is no punishment per say. The one who performs the magic does have to pay though: there is energy cost and in using black magic that cost is high. Using black magic or placing curses and such, can over-through one's life into disorder and chaos. It can also have a negative impact on one's health, depending on the specifics of the magic used.

      Black magic is used to create fear, doubt and concern. People can be mislead in lots of ways, promises of riches, promise of eternal youth and the fear of black magic. None of the above are real--they only create the illusion of reality for some.

   I kind of agree with u Mr Happy. At first I never believed in any such things. However when things go bad and one proves to be always unlucky inspite of hard work or starts falling sick without any known reasons.. then one starts thinking of these things like negative energy or black magic.
   
   But I also sometimes feel the way Larry Wall has said- Its just an illusion.
   So, trying to find out more on this

      I only speak from experience. My grandmother was a Seer who practice Sorcery and I do too. Illusion is our entire three dimensional perspective but that would be another topic of discussion. All the best.
