A lot of people think they are, but goths as a group are just like any other group. Some are Christians (or followers of other religions), some are atheists, and some probably would tell you they're Satanists. You would have to ask each one you meet what they believe. There may a lists of beliefs somewhere on the internet which states what "goths" are, but even then, that doesn't apply to everyone who calls themselves goth or dresses that way. Is everyone who wears those baggy pants hanging down around their butts and their ball caps on sideways "gangbangers"? Is everyone who wears thick glasses and has a pocket protector a super studious "nerd"? Is everyone who wears blue jeans and cowboy boots a real "cowboy"? Just because there may be some goths who are Satanists, it doesn't mean all of them are.
