Why are Mormons and Muslims so similar?
An angel (Gabriel/Moroni) visited a prophet (Mohammed/Joseph Smith) and gave him a book (The Qur'an/The Book of Mormon) the prophet copied the contents of the book without error and it has stood without error until today. The Qur'an challenges people to write a book as elegant as the Qur'an. Joseph Smith Challenged people to write some thing like The Book of Mormon Nobody has succeeded with either book..
The key to believing these religions is believing in their respective prophet and this book.
The Our'an came long before Joseph Smith did. Joseph knew little to nothing about Islam.
All organized religions have similarities and they all based on the belief that was is written by their prophets or what have you, really was through God.
The more I look at how these books came into being the more I'm convinced God created man and man created religion.
I believe there is one religion created by God and many that were created by man.
And of course your religion will be the one created by God and all the other 4000 and something are created by man.

Can someone who has studied Islamic literature/scripture explain that killing people for having different religious view is not okay in the Quran?

Very curious about this. Mit Romney didn't cut it. Mostly because of flip-flopping. Or was it really because he's a Mormon? Most Christians don't think Mormons are Christians at all, but rather a cult. Lots of very anti-stuff out there about the Mormons. Why is it so important to dis this religion?...
