Is it true that Jesus did not preach tolerance?

A Christian said it is wrong to preach tolerance because Jesus preached repentance not tolerance.

What a nonsense! Does he say that you don't practice tolerance, get impatient, go and offend some one? Then after a while go repenting and it is perfectly the right thing to do?!

Then what did Jesus mean by saying " If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them?"

Jesus should have said "If someone slaps on one cheek, hit his head with a stone; then go to a church, meet the priest, confess your wrong doing and repent. You will be perfect"!!

      An absurd and unscriptural answer

Didn't he say things like: "Love thy neighbor as thyself" and "He who is without sin let him cast the first stone"?
That sounds to me like he wasn't all that judgmental and also very tolerant of others.

Yes that is truth.   HE Never preached tolerance.    He preached repent, go and sin no more, he did not condemn because only the person can condemn themselves.    He used a limited amount of patience but NEVER TOLERANCE OF SIN.
