Did Mary tell people around her to not worship her?
Does the Bible have any literature where Mary told the people around her to not worship or pray to her?
The Bible does not provide any such information. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the only quotes from Mary are related to her answer to the angel Gabriel regarding the birth of Christ in (Luke 1:34); during a visit to her cousin Elizabeth who was pregnant with John the Baptist (Luke 1:46-55); when her son, Jesus, was lost in the temple ((Luke 2:48); and during the wedding at Cana (John 2:3-5). In none of these chapters does Mary discuss the worship of herself.
