How the Muslims should react on the blasphemy in the light of Quran & Hadith?
It is very tragic that there is an increasing trend of blasphemy. It is for the reasons that Muslims of today are very weak despite they are massive in population. Now the question is; how Muslims should react on such incidences. Usually, there are violent congregations after such incidences. Muslims come on the streets and damage the public property of their own country. By such reactions the persons who commits blasphemy gets his goal which is to get popularity. Muslim cannot reply the followers of other religions in the same fashion as abusing god of other religion is like abusing Allah.
All belief systems need to be open to criticism, so that contradictions can be worked out and bad ideas identified and corrected.
The horror of Islam is that it sanctions early on the right to kill critics - while being both a religion and political system.
If Muslims want to improve the image of their religion, they need to start critically talking about why so many of its members are violent, from terrorism against the West to Sunni / Shia violence to honor killings of their own family members - without saying all these violent people aren't really Muslim.

Does Islam contain some doctrines that make it mandatory for all Muslims to kill/destroy/annihilate followers of other religions/atheists/agnostics? Some say it does. Some others say it was not originally in the text but had been stealthily inserted later by religious fanatics.
