    There is a distinct and defined difference between prejudice and hate / bigotry / racism / etc. So, if you are making the claim that 2.0B people who practice some form of the theology called Islam are, in totality, being singled out by the global society as terrorists, you would be gravely mistaken.

    Is daesh cause for concern among Islamic people, more so than non? Absolutely. They have amassed quite a force, estimated by Egyptian and other Intel agencies at near 150-200K soldiers in now 8 countries, plus civilians, living under said authority. They have succeeded, actually, in establishing what they wanted. What is to come, is where the trouble seems to be... And, unless mistaken, this is where the root of your worry exists. They have waged war on their own people in what appears to be a quest to restore a lost empire, else cleanse and tighten-up the looseness of the theology, due to modern societal changes -much like Christianity has ungone mass dissolution over the last century...

    The remaining 5.0B people on planet earth do not share their perspective. And, I'd wager that less than 1/10 of a percent of the entire global population harbors prejudice towards the remaining Islamic practitioners or Islam itself.
