Will the Catholic church massacre gays, if they have their way?

Recent issue surrounding gay marriage prove, the Catholic church don't understand, they should respect other's right of religion freedom and not follow the Catholic church and voices against gay marriage, is dominate by angry Catholic with same attitude, as those who persecute, against a minority group. I my self dislike homosexuality, but right now I am on the side of the gays, because it is no longer about what gay is like, but basic human right. If the Catholic church have their way, do you think they would massacre gays and if yes, should we kick the Roman Catholic church out of our nation

I don't think so. The Catholic church are subtle. They'll probably just discriminate people to death.

As is the world - "subtle!"  But fm Lisa's response below, sounds as though they "appease" ALL rather than doing what is written in the Word of God!

The last massacre of gays was carried out in Nazi Germany, whose population was 67% Protestant.

When asked about gays in 2013 current Catholic Pope had this to say: "If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?"

I hardly think this statement supports the idea that the Catholic church is planning any sort of massacre. Pope Francis is the most live and let live Pope the church as had in a long time.

As for driving the Catholic church out of your country, good luck with that. They have power, money, and longevity on their side. Most countries that have attempted to drive Catholics out have discovered that it's pretty much impossible.

WOW!  What a pope? Has he not read the Scriptures?  Precisely what I'm talking about "Appeasing the people" or Galatians 1:10!

This only displays what "religion" is all about - Losing Souls - Accompanying Satan!

The Holy Father has read it all, and is interpreting it in a way that is very open and loving, the way Christ intended.

What Holy Father? (Man?) The Pope? (Man? ) "Open & loving?" (Not telling TRUTH fm Bible!)  Like Christ? (Matt 18:15)  What Christ? (Num 23:19)

TRUTH is not "loving" when not in agreement w/lifestyle! It hurts/insults! (Matt 10:34)

Yes, yes, Norine. You've already made the point that yours is a religion of hate, exclusion, and narrow-mindedness. Mercifully, not everyone worships at your hateful altar. Be gone, before someone drops a house on you!

      Lisa:  ONLY given Scripture!

" ...yours is a religion of hate, exclusion, and narrow-mindedness."
      Mine?  Read again!  Gal 1:6-9

      Die?  Joy!  Phil 1:21!

      I "Believe!"

Obviously, there is a non-Catholic on this page with incorrect data and mistaken views. He is entitled to speak as he pleases. That right is guaranteed by the First amendment.

I will assure you that the Catholic Church is not going to massacre gays. The statement is foolish and is only intended to start an argument. The Catholic Church does not support gay marriages. This is true for many faiths.

The foolishness of the question makes any additional commentary unnecessary. I will not comment any more and if anyone wants my opinion, they can read this post.

This question belongs in the forum where people like to argue about everything. The moderators should close this question as its only goal is to insult a religion that is dear to many people and to make false statements.
