Did you know Abraham had eight sons?
The most common belief by most people who read the bible is that Abraham had two sons named Ishmael and Isaac. In Genesus 25:1 it lists six more sons that Abraham had fathered. Their names were Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah.
No I had no idea that he had eight sons. I never really thought about it or the significance of that fact. If anything it shows that a lot of people including myself aren't fully reading the bible. Thats bad because for Christians everyone should have thier own interpretation of the bible stories beyond what that pastor teaches like how you have just done.
