Does true "White Witchcraft" really exist?

Can good intentions and good spellwork really bring about good without consequence?

Doesn't nature work as a balance of dark and light, good and bad. Having too much good would cause this balance to shift, right?

So in that case, is white witchcraft really good?

No. There's no such thing as witchcraft.

Also, how would you define "good" and "bad", because what one person may consider good (winning the lottery) another may consider bad (using the lottery winnings in such a way that ultimately destroys your family).

There is nothing in nature that demands a balance of good and bad because these are purely human terms. There is no good or bad in nature--a tree falls regardless of if it's going to destroy or not destroy anything else. It's humans who give these qualities to nature.

Any "good" or "bad" outcomes from so called witchcraft are just coincidence and interpretation. Ask anyone who believes in witchcraft or a religion that involves prayer and they'll tell you that their spell or prayer "ALWAYS WORKS EVEN IF IT'S NOT IN THE WAY I THOUGHT IT WOULD". Doesn't that make the effectiveness suspect? If spells and prayers actually worked, wouldn't they work just like any other science: exactly the same way every time if preformed in the exact same way (while accounting for human error).

So you come to a religious part of Hub Pages to try to argue that religion isn't real?

You have excellent points about good and evil though, I'll give you that.

To say witchcraft doesn't exist because you don't believe in magic is like saying Christianity doesn't exist because you don't believe in Jesus. Witchcraft is a practice that many people adopt, whether  you think it actually does anything or not.

Not in the sense that you see on television and movies.  But it does exist.  The practice of witchcraft is forbidden in the bible, and there really is no "white magic."  Since God forbids it, we can assume that all witchcraft is bad.  God is the one in control, not us.

Way to put down the wiccan faith. You came to the pagan/witchcraft category to push Christianity?

I'm just answering your question.  Does white witchcraft exist?  I say no, and I said why above.   Good and bad are not equal--God is more powerful than Satan.

My Gods don't forbid it, and we have no Bible. So I wouldn't agree with your assumption, but then you know what happens when you assume lol

Yes, yes, yes, to all your questions. Occultism can be good or bad. It is a razor-sharp sword, though. The wise ones recommend that you get on your Path and keep walking. This is the safest way. Do not look back or even sideways. Stay on the narrow Path. It may seem longer, but is quicker. If you are blessed to receive, then continue. Never worry about what's behind you.

Occultism and other such Siddhis, as we call them, are mainly distractions, and will slow you down on your journey. Seek ye first the Kindgom of Heaven, then do what you wish afterwards. This is the recommendation of all great Souls. Do not stop! Do not look back! be wary of Siddhis and miracles. God speed!

I have no idea if true "White Witchcraft" exists, but I know "Black Witchcraft" exists. Throughout my life, as far back as I can remember, I have been praying for God to take me away from my mother or kill her. So far, none of the two has happened, She is very much alive, and every time I am forced to go back and live with her.

I really do not know if my issue has anything to do with this topic. However, I wrote a note to my mother this morning entitled:

Whenever, I get these hate feelings toward my mother, and somebody is called to intervene, they tell me, love your mother, hug your mother, have no hate for mother, but let God deal with it. After the person leaves, I have to tell myself, I cannot do anything about the situation, but leave it in the hands of God.

Well, so far God has done nothing. I do not know how much I can take.  This morning again I got another long lecture. She said the last law enforcer that came to the house, told her, that all she has to do is sign a paper, and he can have me evicted. She asked me what any other would have done? She said that if I do not get a job by Friday I should leave the house. What would any child do?

Thus "White Witchcraft" really exist. I remember when I was a child and went to Manchester, and my mother took me to a party. I was uncomfortable, and I told her I am uncomfortable at the party. She told me that any other person, would simply the party. My baby sister was sleeping in another room. Eventually, she told me that if I did not want to be at the party, I could go in the room with my sister.

I am using this forum to express my feelings about witchcraft. I can remember clearly when my children were babies, me leaving in my bedroom to go to the party next door. So does "Black
Witchcraft" really exist. Yes, because I HATE THE BITCH. What can I do, but find a forum on prayer, to pray for GOD TO KILL TH
E Witch, because I am certainly not asking for forgiveness.

She had on a blue shirt this morning. Bright Blue. Prince said that he is not going to remember the day he was born, but the day he dies. When my mother was leaving Jamaica, I was the happiest person.  When i got pregnant I was the person. When we moved to 110 Ave. I was the happiest person. When I leave this house, I will be the happiest person.

    Can I get some help.

Very sad, my Sweet Angela. You seem sincere God knows your struggles. We can only give you what we have. Some have mangoes; yet others thorns. Who is to blame? if the Heart is black, the child will experience this. All carry burdens. Strive to Love.

I think you are being oppressed by a demon.  God is not going to kill someone for you.  Then again, there are two sides to every story--an I think you are leaving quite a lot of information out of yours.

There's no such thing as white or black witchcraft - using those terms is even rooted in racism (assuming black hoodoo traditions are all bad and the only good magick comes from white pagan folk - which is bogus).

Witchcraft is neutral - and its practitioners are as varied as there are people in the world. Magic (or energy) is also neutral. There is no such thing as good or bad - those are human concepts. The Universe simply is.

Doing spells for the greater good or sending out positive intentions is not going to shift any kind of balance, because there really isn't one to begin with. And considering all the terrible things happening to people in the world right now, is there such a thing as doing "too much good"?

"There is no such thing as good or bad - those are human concepts."  Sorry, but that is a lie straight from the pit of hell.

I'm of the opinion that white/black or good/evil are largely opinions (some we agree on more than others). Overall, ethics and morality are complex topics, I don't see a black & white universe, I see many shades of gray.

As for Witchcraft, in my beliefs & practices, magic is neutral. Like fire it can heat your home or burn it down. Doesn't make it good or evil, it's just a force of nature. How you use it is up to you... most people would wield such forces in accordance to a certain code of ethics/moral position, which is often debatable.

It really depends on who you ask. Saying that there is no such thing as white or black magick is like saying that there is no such thing as good or evil, imo. Some people practice witchcraft with the strict restriction of helping, or at least not harming others. But of course, no one is perfect, so even then it is 'primarily' white magick. People who aren't against black magick/witchcraft do not only do magick or spells that are dark, and harm others, sometimes they might help people as well, so for them, there is no such thing as white or black witchcraft. I believe those people must assume that no one really does only good with their spellwork, which is not entirely true. There are those who follow that strict path to do only good 'primarily', or at least neutral with their spells.
