Have you heard the Quran before?
Kindly, open this link: ( http://bit.ly/1sN6m91 )
And listen to some of the verses of the Holy Quran (AL-Imran; 110-112). Then tell me what did you feel while listening to it
I have too much to read, but I hope that you are not trying to fall into someone else's trap or feel insecure.
ALL scriptures - as far as I understand them - are written by those with inner guidance and are as such blessed. The prophets were all God-chosen Souls.
Do not feel the need to pander to others. Rely on your own inner guidance, while praying or entreating God/Allah to strengthen you or increase wisdom. The way of the Heart is Love, not challenge, and one day you will be asked about your own Heart, not others.
Perhaps you are doing well; perhaps I misunderstood. Carry on my Brother. Love, serve, pray ...worship ...Salaam!
You took the conversation to a different curve. First, I am not a brother, I am a woman Second, I not going to fall anywhere. I am a Muslim and I want to know what do you feel when you hear someone is reading my Holy Book
That's it.. SIMPLY.
Salaam! I strive to be a God-lover. ALL scriptures inspire me. My entire being feels a flood of Oneness. I did not come into this world to create a separation life. Much Peace, Rola.
Same as me Manatita
And this is your third 'best answer' for today, CONGRATS!
Ha ha. I like that. You beat me to it. How did you know? Today I was sharing with three Muslims. We were singing devotionals, and chatting ... so beautiful!! I was simply trying to draw you away from the intellect. The Heart...the childlike Heart ...
I know everything ... I am kidding I just read it somewhere. Trust me, you will never draw me away from anything
Inspire; awaken; reach the Heart...that's me. I have over 100 best answers perhaps, but why did you give me best answer? When I return to the Hubs in a weeks time, remind me to visit you. All my Love.
I did because of the big amount of peace that I found in your comment. At least, you didn't insult my religion as what other Hubbers did before
Again I thank you. Love is the birthless and deathless gift from Allah. It is the pulse of life; the very Ground of Being. Those who feel this will not feel resentment to any of the branches on this eternal Life-tree of the Divine. Forgive. Salaam!
Poetic language, but the verses resemble the worst violence and hatred of the Old Testament without the redeeming grace and renunciation of violence of the New Testament.

Does anyone else feel that organized religion is built on a foundation of making you feel guilty?I feel that in order for an organized religion to run successfully it must be predicated on the fact that you must feel guilty on a number of levels. Guilty if you: 1. Aren't coming to church. 2. Don't...

How important is it to you that you honor God & What does it mean to honor God? If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified , and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.-2 Tim 2:21For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ...

Kaf. Ha. Ya. 'Ain. Sad. (This is) a recital of the Mercy of thy Lord to His servant Zakariya. Behold! he cried to his Lord in secret, Praying: "O my Lord! infirm indeed are my bones, and the hair of my head doth glisten with grey: but never am I unblest, O my Lord, in my prayer to Thee!...

Some prominant theologians have asserted that St. Paul's theology appears to be universalistic in its overall thrust. One isolated passage can be used to illustrate the idea:Romans 5:18 Therefore just as one mans trespass led to condemnation[or doom] for all, so one mans act of...

A friend told me she didn't "feel saved" anymore. I told her salvation is a gift from God. You either accept it or you don't. There is no feeling saved. You either are or are not. I'm praying about how to further explain this to my friend. Any suggestions on scriptures or other...

I want to know when Islam started? Did Muhammad start it or did it exist before Muhommad?
