If someone gave you a simple $20 000 to improve the everday quality of a stranger's life-who/what?
I'm assuming in this question a couple of things: firstly, there is no way you can keep the money for yourself. Secondly, it has to be given to one person, not a group, not a charity - one person only.
Okay, that said, I'd give it to the first person I saw who looked homeless or hard up. "Here, son, let this change your life..."
Ah! You're possibly thinking,"Oh,that person might simply waste it and be no better off it as short a time as a month or so." And, of course, this would be true. But the point is: it was given to you to give away. It was not given so you could be judgmental, or expect thanks, or in some way ingratiate yourself or seek favor from another. Get it: give it - no strings attached.
Of course, I must ask myself, "Would I do that?" Probably not. Rather, like most people, I would put myself in a bit of a tither, worrying about the best way to use it to make someone's life better ACCORDING TO MY OWN PREDJUDICES.
What would you do?
