Isn't Ramadan a religious ritual? Your god's good grace is all the reward you need, not money. True, Christmas is compensated, because here it is a national holiday by decree, nonXtians are paid for it too. (not religious exclusively).

You are right. But it is not about one day its for the whole month Muslims are doing for the sake of Reward from God. I am not trying to compare Ramadan with Christmas. Obviously Muslims also do respect of Christmas Day.

Do you think Muslim employees should be paid for the whole month of Ramadan?

Why not.I am asking about some compensation. And you are saying that they even should not get paid. Obviously they will do work that is why they will be paid.If organization is responsible for the comfort of the employes. They need to give them comfort

No, I am saying they should not be pid EXTRA just because it is Ramadan. Of course everyone should be paid for working their regular job duties.

Don't you get break time at work? Or do you have to pray at a specific time of day? I think this is something you should discuss with your employer.
