Service is a good start. As the Heart - the psychic Heart expands, one will find that there is already an inherent push, which was there in the beginning. It is an inner cry or hunger, a burning intensity for Something Higher, deeper, more meaningful in life. This induces a kind of faith-- an unshakable belief in Something Unseen and a further push to serve; to Love.
Spirituality is action and this action is enhanced by the gift which comes from Prayer or/and meditation; service to humanity at large. Generally, Spirituality means leading a more wholesome life in a quest to re-awaken one's innate divinity--the God within.
Serving, smiling, working diligently, integrity, identification with life, a broad and expansive Heart, seeing humanity as our brothers and sisters ... all these and more, are adjuncts to living a deeper and fuller life. Glory be!!
Spirituality in life simply means one acknowledges his or her body is nothing more than a shell to transport him/her around. They recognize a spiritual connection with others as with all living things around them in the universe without following a particular religion. It's an understanding one's spirit is eternal.
".... behold, the kingdom of God is within you."
A spiritual life is always associated with god .A spiritual believer must surrender to the god the Truth and he must lead a life as service to god rather than just live for pleasure and luxury. I will refer you to Bhagavathgita which states the important of karmayoga. karma means work or duty. Gita says that we must do our duty you cant shy away from your duty and do every work as a service to god with out expecting any compensation.
