What is wisdom? How do you get it? Are there different kinds of wisdom? How do you get those?
I have been writing devotionals on the book of Proverbs, which has much to say about wisdom in the light of who the God of the Bible is. Do you believe this is true wisdom?
I love the book of proverbs.
Philosophers in this world are known for saying, "the more I think I know, the more I realize that I know nothing at all."
I've pretty much proven to myself, (not on purpose though) that the only wisdom that I can absolutely trust comes from God alone. Seeking out answers prayerfully is the only place I know of where we can get any real wisdom at all.
King Solomon was said to be the most wise among men, (not including Jesus as we know He is the most wise,) but among men. The bible says that there was none before him, nor after him as wise as he was. Yet Solomon stumbled in many areas just as we do. Our own wisdom, no matter how great it might or might not be, can't compare to God's wisdom.
It's always best to look to Him.
