What do you do if demons are attached to oneself?

   I hate the way these sort of subjects bring out the hateful ugliness in certain people. If you put down others beliefs, you are really not very smart. There is no 100% reliable proof to say all these skeptical topics do or don't exist, so who the hell are you to tell someone they need mental help?  Maybe they are right, maybe not, but you clearly don't have the answers if you are that small minded to ridicule others beliefs.

   I must agree. I would have thought that when one has recently and personally experienced having something dear to them obliterated that it would foster a sense of compassion if not a greater sense of why mutual respect is important.

   I can understand how frightening the situation can be. . if you don't mind trying a different route, I can only offer an Islamic technique to try and help you ... you can play the following youtube link in your house to get rid of what is bothering you. It is referred to the Jinn in Islam.

   Ideally it's to be played once a day for 40 days in a row, but it is about 2 hours long so can be difficult to follow... i would say just play as much of it as you can.
   
   Fear is something you must not show ... the more you show it the more it will bother you. Best is to try and ignore and not react to what is happening even though you know it's real.

   Demons are of our own making.  You become what you think about.  Choose a mantra which will be a happy thought and repeat it constantly throughout the day.  Do not mention the demon thoughts.  Eventually they will be replaced by happy thoughts.

   The way how you look at it is not necessarily the first world way of looking at things.
   
   Given, I am from a third world rural setting, what you speak of is very evident and true. I have personally dealt with similar issues in my life.
   
   The questions I would like to ask is.
   
   Have u made enemies with anyone that may want to hurt you this way?
   
   Were you involved in any stuff like wiji borads or any stuff like that?
   
   Do you know what triggered this?
   
   What are you dreams like(an exact recent dream would be good)?
   
   I may be able to make diagnosis, if you do not mind

   Demons do not exist, as "entities" at least.
   
   In fact the "demons" that Immanu El (Y`shua, Joshua) was said to have cast out, in the Hebrew/Aramaic, means just that -extremely powerful forms of human guilt/condemnation/morose.
   
   Same as many mental diseases we see today. Note how the madman was beside himself, running around half naked, in a cemetery, screaming his head off and scaring passers by...
   
   ...schizophrenia, MPD, dementia ("madness") ?
   
   On the mental and spiritual view, this would mean, an individual is engulfed in their own fears, thoughts; is refusing to let go of something; refusing to heal and be healed fully.

      i would agree that dealing with or being haunted by demons leads to madness in some cases. but they do exist and come out of the blue when you least expect it.

         Many are mistaken or caught up in false doctrines / terminology regarding demonology. There is no 'biblical' proof of demons existing.
         In fact demons are not mentioned in Torah, which incidentally makes up 90% of the current text.
         
         misconceptions:
         
         1. Demons are fallen angels.
         No text mentions angelic messengers 'falling from heaven' and becoming evil, nor the creation of such entities.
         
         2. Demons came from an angelic entity 'Lucifer' who gathered 1/3 of the other angels, battled with Michael, and was kicked out of heaven. 'Lucifer is mentioned only once in all of Torah referring directly to the nickname given the king. lucem ferre or (messenger of light).
         
         3. Satan is confused or assumed as being an entity or as being lucem ferre.
         Satan is not an entity, it is an expression regarding the human mind.
         
         These stories come from misinterpretations of Johns letter of Revealing the work of Y`shua Moshiach.
         
         The hook to these beliefs rests here: "...casting out demons by Beelzebub".
         Beelzebub was a Philistine god/deity, originally derived from Ba`al worshippers. The word Beelzebub in rabbinical texts is a mockery of the Ba`al religion, which ancient Hebrews considered to be idol worship. Y`shua making this statement was with regard to precisely that. A mockery of idol thinking.
         
         "Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you."
         
         If read correctly, you see he is mocking the Pharisees for their lack of understanding. The Pharisees of the time had incorporated much paganism into their teaching --not much different than the Christian doctrines today. He mentions "itself" and "himself" several times, referring directly to the individual self who divides himself/herself. A kingdom divided cannot stand. The kingdom of Heaven is in you. If you are divided between this worlds thinking -- post Adamic Inception -- and the mindset of the Kingdom ( righteousness, peace, joy ), you will fall victim to fear, doubt, worry, sickness, even death itself.
         
         The simple question: Why would Creator make a messenger of light, allow it to rebel -since only humans have the power of free will, textually - kick it out of 'heaven', then give it power/ability torture/torment His most valued creation -humans ?

            I do not know much about christianity and demons but In islam they are known as Jinn. they are mentioned many times in the Quran.
            
            Satan (saytan or shai'tan) means "the opposer" ... and the king of them is known as Iblis.
            
            Demons or Jinn are not fallen angels.
            
            king solomon was given control of the Jinn or demons... which i think is after the time of the Torah which is why the Torah doesn't contain anything about them.
            
            Jinn have free will and will be judged on the day of judgement along with humans. so your question might be better answered by a christian.

               Even in Jinn, the derivative is identical -Ba`al teaching -more precisely the Babylonian incorporation, with roots to Enoch.
               
               So, the question remains:
               a. what are these demons?
               b. WHY would Creator -the same of the Arabs and Hebrews- fashion such to torment His most valued creation :: the human being.
               
               They are not men, are not lucem ferre, not entities or angels.
               They are inventions of mans imagination -his post Adamic "madness".
               
               They are ha-satan, certainly, because ha-satan is in opposition, oppresses, adverse to the true human nature -a nature exceeding grand, a nature identical to the Creators vision for him and not the nature he insists on living in -a nature of limited thinking; a nature controlled by the thoughts in his head rather than him controlling those thoughts without effort.

God has allowed the torment to test humans in this life. if there is an abundance of everything and no scarcity/torment then we'd be in heaven. also if humans would not see anything bad happen in this world then how would they know when they are blessed or have good? we always need to see things to compare our standing.
                  
                  for me they are not inventions of mans imagination because they are mentioned in the Quran... if they were not mentioned in the scriptures and our prophet did not mention them then i would not have believed in anything being around us.

                     Here is where I normally just sigh and go away. But, for the sake of the readers, today is going to be a different day. mind you, I care not for any religion nor science ideology. Both are savage; both divisive; both incredible and for lack of a better word, mundane.
                     
                     You do not realize what heaven is; where heaven is.
                     Because if you did, each time you glanced in a mirror or saw your reflection in a pool, you would recognize heaven. Heaven is a form of haven. The haven created to house perfection. A place perfectly united as a single living stasis. An entity. A being called the human. Yes, you -the human being ARE heaven. You are heaven in a collective form known as physical, known as earth. You are heaven-earth. This is the purpose of your inception, your creation, your very existence.
                     
                     You are perfect in every why, yet you fear to accept that. As Adam feared, because he had eaten of one thing: the knowledge of what is good versus what is not good for him. It is good for him to live in perfection and allow the processor of light -his thoughts- to be only that. There is no need for him to engage and wrestle with his thoughts, because it brings him only death, only confusion and fear.
                     
                     Now, I ask you, what can you compare perfection to? Even better what or how can you compare good from evil, if you do not understand good? You cannot. So, you compare evil to evil in the hope you will gain knowledge of good. In doing so, you torment yourself.
                     
                     Now, if you accept perfection, you lose all sight of evil. All darkness -meaning evil, or lacking illumination disappears, because perfection -the fullness of light swallows up all darkness -illuminates everything it touches.
                     
                     
                     
                     As for mentions in books. Books are inventions of man. and if a man believes or needs to believe because of what is written in books, he does not even know himself. Scriptures and prophets are for the fearful and for the law. There is no law in perfection. In perfect there is no flaw or fault and no need for prophets and purging...

                        if you sigh and walk away then we'll never know what you're thinking so it's always better to communicate as you'll get a better picture of your own thoughts. 
                        
                        It depends on what type of good or evil you are talking about to understand whether it's good or bad. What i was talking about was something like the hunger in the third world ... you see the malnurished people and you know that you are in the "good" / blessed side of things in this world... but if say you're living in a first world or developing country and you look at your neighbour then there is nothing special going on because you're both reasonably nourished and if your neighbour or similar kind of people is all you have seen throughout your life then you will never know you're in the blessed or good side of things.
                        
                        how can i call myself perfect when i know i have flaws ... are they supposed to be a part of my perfection? if you talk about humans being perfect creations then i can agree to that...
                        so in perfect as you say .. do you think that if everyone saw themselves as perfect then they would not commit evil?
                        
                        you can only lose sight of evil if things are going your way in your own life. when things change the whole scenery and thinking process changes. but if you think even when things are not going your way you can still lose sight of evil then i would surely be interested in how to change ones thinking process and will try to implement it on myself.
                        
                        i agree it is a dark hole and people do wrestle with ones thoughts (creating stress) as you have mentioned which leads to a faster death and its also scientifically proven.
                        
                        I think like a few other people i've talked to on this forum you're looking for the perfect world without war and all the hate ... I would love to have that too but in reality it does not work that way.

                              Yes I'm thinking about it and when you read the account, nobody told Adam he was naked/flawed/lacking, and certainly not some talking snake character. He can only have thought that idea himself.
                              
                              How many times have well meaning Christians told us that Satan whispers thoughts into our heads telling us we are crap..... Nothing of the sort, these ideas are our own.

                                 For thousands of years, man has been trapped in that exact mode: Madness.
                                 Ironically a perfectly believable madness. Thousands of years of logical and sensational doctrine building, only to reach the same point -defending that madness.
                                 
                                 Adam wasn't flawed/naked in any way, he just became consumed by his thoughts. His brain took authority over his entire being. Note how he hid himself from Creator, not the other way around. He says, he hid -not because he had 'eaten' of the knowledge- but because he was naked and ashamed/afraid.
                                 
                                 It is a mystery to me. Should this analogy fit, Adam spent over 1,000 years in 'The Garden', walking side by side with Creator/creation. Enjoying the beauty: the worlds, stars, animals -everything. What 'possessed' him to give it up for a taste of a knowledge he already possessed but was master over?

   I honestly have this condition daily. if its as you said, you know in your own mind you're not crazy.. no need for psychobabble.. it won't help... i beleive you have a an exceeding internal pressure caused by low osmotic pressure. in this condition the walls of the blood vessels especially in the brain can leak plasma out of a thinning wall into surrounding brain tissue. this leaves the blood thick and not easily able to move around causing massive internal pressure while at the same time the  watery plasma tends to make the body swell and sweat.. if you feel this is what you're experiencing.. then go to my profile and check out my hub on hyperhydrosis.. in the meantime get potassium quick, its he only way to cure it... as for why its suddenly happening. it might be that you've moved into a highly humid area or unkwingly started changing diet to higher sodium foods.. the excess water in your system is your mind trying to control your chi but not being able to cope with the excess pressure and tougher to control  where your mind is trying to send your chi.. you may want to take a step but cant because your not able to focus the chi to your leg and keep control.. if this sounds like whats happening as a typical example than you've probably got a diminishing vessel structure.. the long term cure is to replace the broken down vessels with egg whites (albumin) the proteion need to cure it. No carbs either for a short time. they tend to bring water into the system after breakdown.Take it for what its worth

   If the person is aware or its entourage, only positive energy, prayer, faith and hope can save that person. When the darkness invade you, there are many reasons and stages.
   Only Light can chase darkness. Then, you keep on maintaining the light and spreading it, it comes back tenfold.
   They are many prayers I have used in the past, be Light, strength, goodness, love...
