      I started watching this ridiculous video, but it was interrupted by ads. When this happens, I always bail out of a video. Most of the people I know never finish a video that is interrupted by ads. All I can say is that the title of this forum reflects the 3rd dimensional understanding of the concept of universal creation. Someday when your soul grows up into the 5th dimension, you will understand and not ask such questions. That also is the mindset of the radical Muslims who want to kill everyone who doesn't believe the same way they do.
      But to further expound, many things are permitted in the universe that narrow-minded religionists forbid.

                  OH, like the dimensions of a room, which is totally different. We are talking about the dimensions of the universe of which there are 12. I thought you were talking about the human thoughts of earth, heaven, hell, and whatever you thought the 4th one was. Time itself is not recognized as a dimension, but an element within the 3rd dimension.
                  I'm speaking spiritually, which really can't be explained to the human mind. One has to experience other dimensions to believe they exist (some of us have). However, here is a website that attempts to reconcile other dimensions with string theory. She only explains 11 of them, but it does put it on the right track.

                     Right. I was afraid you were talking string theory. Sorry to tell you it's an all but dead science.  40 years and it has not manage to correctly predict the outcome of a single experiment, and most of the theory isn't even testable, which makes it questionable as to whether it's really science..

   I think we got off the subject, CP. Getting back to your original thought, I kind of have a question. When you say "If God exists, everything is permitted," that's a passive statement and very ambiguous. Do you mean that if God exists, HE permits everything?
   
   I think that is obvious. I'm not a Bible-thumping Christian, but when you read the Old Testament, Jehovah not only permitted all the acts that we today, Christian or not, call sins", he encouraged his followers to commit these acts, murder, rape, pillage, in his behalf to bring the non-followers to their knees. Then came the Jesus of the New Testament.
   
   Jesus came to fulfill an OT prophecy, or at least the Bible claims he did. He taught love and humility and that one must be considerate of his fellow man, but he didn't force himself on the people as Jehovah did.
   Notice I'm not using scripture to back up my points because I said I'm not a Bible follower. I find these two "holy books" to be contradictory of each other, along with the Koran that followed, to be way out in left field.
   Today, the belief in spirituality teaches that the earth is a planet of free-will. I do think both the OT and the NT back that up, and the Koran goes even farther to create this mess. So if the earth was made by a creator as a planet of free will and man can do whatever pleases him, then it is only logical that "everything is permitted." But religions and spirituality spell out the alleged costs. It is all in what man believes that set the perimeters of what the individual does with the freedom to make a choice.

From a pirate museum I built,  Colombia was the first European for oversea salvery in North America, and first pirate, first Christian, first Native genocide, first gold rush all similar to the corruption in the US today. Discredit enough to tear down his statue and holidays.
      
      Your a pirate murderer, if you kill a few people. Your a conqueror if you murder by way of racist and Religious genocide cleazing.          Yeah, Trump just got through announcing that he'd completed building a wall along the Colorado border to keep out the Mexicans. There was a video on TV showing him actually saying this.
         
         BTW, the United States is not a true democracy. The Constitution lays out the government of the United States as a democratic republic. If it were a true democracy, there would not be an electoral college, and we would vote directly for our president.  But since very little, if any, government or civics classes are taught in school anymore, those coming up today don't know that, and when they fuss about this not being treated as a true democracy, they are just spitting in the wind. It never has been. Jefferson and Madison saw to that.

               I say give us true democracy. The parties would each create separate constitutionally legal bills for each issue. Once a week, after some time to educate ourselves,  we would take 5 minutes on our cell phones or computers to vote for the bills we like, or to vote to do nothing and send them back to try again.
               
               That would minimize the need for parties to fight each other. They would be organizers more than anything. The ruling party would still be in charge of emergencies such as war etc. But we'd have the final say.
               
               That's democracy. This isn't really. But before cell phones and computers the logistics of a true democracy was impossible, so we did the best we could. But now we can do better.

                           Right. That's capitalism rather than democracy. I'd make lobbyists giving cash to political parties or politicians  illegal, for a start. Limit how big a company can be, and limit the stock exchange.
                           
                           Mom and pop companies usually give reasonable prices. As soon as they go public they have to increase prices to pay shareholders and try to increase profits every year. That's not sustainable, so companies sell themselves off or go out of business, and it gouges everyone  for the sake of greed.
                           
                           Then we want a raise. But if we get them, and or the minimum wage goes up, guess what? We pay more taxes and prices go up to compensate.. What have we gained? Less than nothing.
                           
                           That's not sustainable either. Pretty soon we'll all make a million a year and a cup of coffee will cost 2,000 dollars, and we'll still be having trouble making ends meet. What's the point?
                           
                           There has to be a better way. Not so we'll all be rich. That won't work. Who would go to work? And I'm not saying eliminate the wealthy. But there has to be a way to stabilize things so everyone has what they need, eliminate poverty, and standardize values for all products and profits.
                           
                           Gas was 19 cents a gallon for 40 years until it went public. Cannabis has been the same price for  almost 50 years. What's going to happen now that its legal? Prices should have gone way down. But did they? No. They are already higher then the black market. How stupid.
                           
                           I'm thinking about it. Don't have a solid answer yet. But some one eventually will.

                              In Canada right now weed is at the highest price ever. Mainly because it's all been handed over to the wealthy, to screw the medical side of it up. I know because I'm on the medical side of the business. On the black market side it sells at half price.
                              
                              I predict prices of weed will go down to 1/3 in the next 5 years with weed wars among Corporationism.

                                 I hope so. I live in Canada too. I even emailed Trudeau before it was legal and told him if he didn't start prices at half the black market price he'd never get rid of the black market. And now I know some black market dealers are lowering their prices. Plus, now you can grow your own and legally share with others. Guess he can't set prices.
                                 
                                 Weed should be pennies a gram to grow like any crop, if your a good grower. Why is tobacco 14 dollars a pack? . 75 percent tax, at least, and  your getting 25 grams per pack.  then they tax you hst on the tax, taxing the tax. That's criminal as far as I'm concerned.
                                 
                                 But weed isn't even being taxed that hard yet. Thanks Justin.  I'd pay 20 bucks an ounce every day of the week. And it really shouldn't cost much more. The only reason the black market charges what it does was for the risk. Why are legal growers charging even more? Greed. No other explanation.

                                    Canada right now is the most regulated country in the world for weed.  It's almost feels like a second prohibition. You can not buy seeds to reproduce yourself more seeds. It's mainly femmized seed for sale online. The secret is, is to trade seeds with other breeders. European seed are the best original seeds.

                                       Yeah.  I think things will change over time. I think the reason it was done the way it was, was because it was the only way the conservatives wouldn't be able to bitch too much about it..
                                       
                                       And when the US legalizes it and it  becomes normalized it'll be a whole new game.
                                       
                                       I want to be able to import hash from Afghanistan, Lebanon, Pakistan, India and Morocco again, and get seeds from there too. . I love hash, but rarely get any. And when I do get the stuff made here, it's just not the same.
                                       
                                       And you're right, seed from Europe probably is more original strain than we get here. I miss some of those original strains.

   I personally find for most part the system is backwards or I call it the injustice system. When I was growing up, it was a decent justice system by  imprison mostly violence offenders.
   
   When they lock people up mostly over the most important plant in the world and only 13% locked up over violence. You have an injustice system.
   
   Luckily Canada is in the first steps of changing that after 95 years of Illegal cannabis.

      I can understand that primitive people would have no other visualizations of their god or gods, but I find it alarming that a so-called mature homo sapiens could still accept the anthropomorphization of their spiritual deity. Yet at the same time, they can't imagine that another planet could be occupied just like ours is. And heaven forbid if that race of people might be more advanced than we humans are. They would have to consider that their God might love these people more.
