I have never taken part in the religious or political forums here on Hubpages. But I feel a strong conviction today. I'm offering this unassailable proof to all atheists (and agnostics, too, don't want to leave you out) that God exists.

I was praying the other day and said, "Lord, thank you for letting me make a 36 cent commission on Amazon the other month. Please help me make another sale before my time on Earth is over."

And the Lord said very clearly to me, "No."

I am curious of only one thing............How do you know you dialed the right number? Or Did you not use the phone? lol lol lol

And, should you have an answer for those...then these do come to mind...........How can you be sure the "no" you received was from "god" or "lord"?  Have you ever heard his voice before? hmm

    Just a thought.

At least He was clear with you.

When I asked Him, He kinda hemmed and hawed about it. He wouldn't even look me straight in the eye. He was shuffling his feet and wringing His hands.

Finally he stammered "f&#$ off", and turned and ran out the door.

It's surprising, but This Guy has some serious confrontation issues.

I wonder if your god is in the child, the vulture or both?

Nonetheless, the only one who got their prayers answered here was the vulture.

The child got a resounding "NO!" Not even a fig.

      Prayer is miraculous, indeed!

        Is death ever pretty??  .
For the person that it happens to, does it really matter if music is playing in the back ground and you are lying between clean sheets  ????

Ever since the beginning there has been almost as many deaths as there were births. Seems as though it was part of the natural balance of all things.

That is unless we reference the biblical acount before the flood.

Yes, it is amazing just how much believers assume their hypocrisy is beyond reproach and justification, all part of the natural balance of things, you know. Amen to that.

I do not see  hypocrisy in the above statement.
               Do you?
If you do; it might be a film over your eyes causing you to see it wherever you look.
You might want to have that looked at.

Some of my prayers have been answered in miraculous ways! And I don't give a fig if you believe me or not. I like Crocodile Dundee's take on this: "Me and God, we be mates!"

Cool, I've never heard that one!
I am a firm believer that God answers prayers in a multitude of ways. Someday, those with a sincere desire to believe will learn this also. It is also worth mentioning that Heavenly Father Most High loves those that love Him (at the very least) and has promised through His Son that the veritable door will be opened to those who seek Him (reverently, I might add).

I had a similar experience.  I prayed that I would understand "the" bible as the utter nonsense that it is, and my prayer was answered.  Ironically, I don't know whom to praise for the miracle.
