Can there be love without freedom?

This is something I'd like to explore in stories, somewhere in the future. But I still wonder, can you really love someone if you're not free, especially if it is that person that imposes limitations on your freedom, in a narrow/literal or a broad sense. Could you ever love someone that keeps you imprisoned, for instance or is freedom and absolute condition for love?
Please let me know what you think on the matter.

When we come to the understanding of whatlove is .. then you will have the answer you need.

usually this is where it all breaks down. not having a single and conclusive concept of what love is.

With all the brainwashing and hidden slavery going on in the world, you wonder, how many can truly be fearless enough to break through for love.

When two people or things are stronger together than apart, then love will make good sense and be clear.
