The Ark of covenant should be important yet people said there are many theories as to its way about. Does it mean no record is available on the Ark?

I think God took it. It is no more.

I think the location of the Ark is written in the book/index/chronicle that has yet to be unearthed from underneath the paw of the Sphinx in Egypt.

The Ark itself may well have been destroyed by now, but its whereabouts would have been noted in this Hall of Records, or Library, or whatever it is called.

A number of years ago I saw some documentary on it. There is a Coptic church in Ethiopia that claims to have it. Unfortunately they would let the BBC come in and have a look at it.

I saw that - there is a guardian monk who permanently lives inside with it I seem to remember  -  or something like that.  Nobody ever goes in except the one guy and he is replaced by the next monk in some kind of succession ??

Be a bit of a bummer for those generations of guys if it turns up to be a fake huh !

The Ark of covenant as a religious object is not what should have a conflicting theories. This is because it is not just an ordinary object but it has mystic powers associated with it. The question is if it was lost or never existed or hidden away from public knowledge for security reasons. But what actually was it last knowledge, at least from bible records.

one theroy is the ark of the covenent is in the money pit in iceland or greenland(cant remember) where theres a unique system that makes it hard look for. Theres been 5-6 expiditions in the last 100's or so and no one has been able to breach the system completely. Whatevers down there was never ment to be found, and probably for a good reason. One day curoisity will kill us all!!!

kind of sounds like something that would of been in pitfall in the 80's. It was on an episode of ancient aliens and the way they descibed it sounded interesting.
