Is what day unlucky for christians?

   What day is unlucky for Christians? I think it was black something, or was it related to a cat? Anyways, people say 13 is unlucky. Why?Is it okay to believe in signs? Like if a cat passes before you, you have to take off your shoes and put them on again or you'll have an accident? Cause, my dad does. And does wish actually come true by wishing upon a star?

      One should only take their shoes off and put them on again if they're apt to otherwise step in the cat poo and slip....  LOL
      
      No.  Christians aren't usually very superstitious.  The Bible warns us against it.  Even warns us about "old wives' tales", etc.

      Christians may consider Friday an unlucky day for a number of reasons. One theory is that the early church wanted to keep women subservient to men, and wanted to marginalize pagan beliefs. Because the Romans associated Friday with Venus, the pagan goddess of love, early Christians demonized the day. Another theory is that Christians believe the Great Flood started on a Friday, and that Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden fruit on Friday, making Friday unlucky.

   Friday 13th was the day when they burned the head of the Knight's Templar at the stake. He apparently cursed both the Pope and the King of France who both died within the year, so it is not been a day popular with Catholics ever since.
