Are you convince you really love God for who he is? Love is easy to claim, but difficult in practice, what is your standing with God?
Love is a verb. So what's your definitive set of actions that one must comply with to demonstrate one loves God?
It took me the better part of 50 years (not counting childhood) to really love myself. I do now. Not only do I love myself but I respect myself. Loving myself for who I am was not an easy task because I was tainted by Viet Nam era diversions. Now that I have come full circle, I understand that I am every bit a part of the Universal God, the god in each of us. There is no magical god in the sky waiting for us to love him for who he is. The message is clear. Love yourself first, then find love for others and everywhere. Only then will you know the god-love within you.
There is a first question thats need clarification..
..that is Who is /what is God...
When that is first answered then one can approach your question..
But I say Loving God is loving your neighbor as yourself...
...that is beginning and end...

Disregard what others do and say. How does a human love an Ultimate Reality? How do you love God?Jesus clearly states in the Gospel of John, chapters 14 and 15, how to Love God, how to be His friend. But how do you love God?

Is God a vengeful God? If I don't believe, am I condemned to 'burn'?If I lead a life where I am selfless, constantly help people, give away my money and live in a 'Christian' way, will I still be condemned to 'burn' if I simply don't believe in God?

There was this very enticing and interesting question I read on the internet about people loving God. Specifically, why do everything in your power to please God when God is supposed to love you already; is supposed to accept you for who you are? I must say, people are selfish in terms of their own...
