Jesus name is mentioned 943 times in the KJV , not fully sure
"Jesus Christ" together is mentioned 195 times...In today's version of the bible. Mostly by Paul. But Paul used the name Christ for the most of his writings and Jesus was added later to his writings by the church. So the number 195 is somewhat deceiving.
In today's version of the Bible, how many pages are there?
It depends on which version one is using...The font size...The overall size of the bible itself...
How many different versions of the Bible are there?
Well, I personally have 14 different versions...And I don't have a complete collection...
I am curious as to what these new question have to do with your original posted question.
Fourteen different Bible's, does this ring any alarm bells to you? Why are there so many versions?
You have 14 different versions of the Bible and this is not the complete set?
Does this ring any alarm bells with you? As to which one if any are correct.
I don't regard any of them correct or incorrect. Simply different interpretations of the original texts.
Just as a side note. I don't claim to be a christian. I was only answering the question posed.
Why don't you just run a search in www.biblegateway.com
Couldn't it be that different publications of the KJV have different sized print and pages? Why do you ask?
Religion and Philosophy forum, 359.076 member's experts on Religion and Atheism, have no answer to this simple question?
I find Jews and atheists full knowledge about the Bible are better than other most groups, even if many of them act like grumpy old men
I back your claim:
"If you want to know about God, you might want to talk to an atheist."

Sir, that claim is very bigot and anti-Semitic, that was the reason because Jews were persecuted over the centuries, you claim to be a christian, please read the bible and study some history, the catholic church already apologized for that mistake...
I have never claimed to be anything, I just believe in Jesus if Jesus is a christian, then I am the same.
I do not read the Bible or go to church, I am not persecuting the Jews, just stating a fact.
With respect thanks.
You are right, you just made a question, i assumed it was a rhetorical one. my mistake and i apologize for that.
If you don't read the bible or have any religious affiliation, why the belief in Jesus? Did you like the character in The Passion of Christ?
Mel Gibson portrayed as a masochist in The Passion of the Jew?
Roman's killed Jesus base on their laws and physical action
Roman's were the Government and in control
Why should the Jews, or any person or group walk around their entire life with an electric chair under their Butt
That like blaming Iraq for 9/11 when no Iraqi have ever killed an American on their soil
As the stomach turns in the days of our deaths stories
To MP50:
The exact name or title or phrase "Jesus Christ" occurred 258 times in the entire Bible. In other words, there are exactly 258 verses in the New Testament with the name or title "Jesus Christ" on it. Your question is so simple, considering the fact that we have a downloadable freeware in the internet named "e- sword"- by Rick Meyers. (May the Lord Jesus return to him and to his companions the blessings, more than a hundred fold for all their efforts for Christ.) It's a very good resource you can utilize or use for many of your Bible needs, including: 1. preparing Biblical messages well; 2. locating any passage or verse you want where you are familiar with any or some of the wordings, but you don't know where the exact verse is; 3. comparing different Bible translations; 4. looking up the original Hebrew and Greek renditions of words or phrases in verses via the strong's exhaustive concordance numberings ( with this feature, distorted or fraudulent translations by false Bible teachers can easily be seen, proven and demonstrated); 5. Reading Bible commentaries about passages you want to learn more from; 6. utilizing its available dictionaries; 6. writing topical notes; 7. Finding out whether Bible teachers are telling you the truth, since it is so convenient to study the Bible from; 8. etc., etc., etc... Because of internet resources like freeware e- sword, Bible truths are catching up with everybody, so that evangelizing the world is going to be better and faster. Before the "Good" Lord Jesus comes, everybody will definitely be evangelized with the truths of the Bible about the Lord Jesus Christ. There won't be any excuses for people to rationalize about. False doctrines made by people will be shown erroneous, indeed. All blessings "in" Christ Jesus- our Lord (Romans 8:32; II Corinthians 1:20)!!!

Is the God of the Bible, the same as the God of the Koran, and Bhagavad-Gita.If there is one God, why so many different "scriptures". Why not just one book that tells the entire history of planet Earth and the entire cosmos?

What is our final authority for Truth: the Bible alone, or what our pastors/teachers have taught? Most will say it is the Scriptures alone that determines what is Truth for them. But if this is true, then why are there 100's of denominations within Christianity and each one claims to have it...

Two Christians, both led by the Holy Spirit in understanding. Differ on meanings of the Bible. Who?I stopped trying to determine just who is led by the Holy Spirit. I take folks at their word. But they differ. The 4 Gospels differ per perspective. Isn't this just clear as a bell that God works...
