Yes- this is a climb!

It's not too bad if you can smile!

Stop smiling! This is supposed to be hard!

The photo above was blurred so I just made it a bit like a water color picture.

Alan is presented with tens of thousand of dollars!

This was in appreciation for being a great ride leader!

Route 66 - John Mayer & Andreas Mejlgaard

This photo was blurred so I water-colored it.

Very soon Bruce, here in his barca-lounger, will pick the pace up to 50 mph or so.

That would mean no picture taking for a while.

As I was Orange Groovin' I ran into this fellow.

This was how I felt when Bruce kicked it up to 60 miles an hour on New Hope Church Road!

I had just written An Ode To Three Possums In The Middle Of The Road!

Sorry- this is a common sight for cyclists!

My poem forced me to take the picture!

The End!

Pretty tattoos eh!
Pretty tattoos eh!

That's all folks!

Hey! My eyes are up here ladies!

Yo yo yo! Pmccray! The rascals are cool huh? I wanted to put up another by the rascals- "It's a Beautiful Morning" but the videos I saw skipped or stopped occasionally so I found Ace of Base which is up-beat and bicycle spin class upbeat music. Then John Mayer turned out this nice Route 66 so I went with that. My first choice was Asleep At The Wheel but the videos were not good there either. Peace Sister! God Bless!

You know Chris- men just love pain. We play football. Marry younger women- you know- we're stupid.

There are a lot of horses down here. You come down and I'll watch you ride a horse. I haven't ridden a horse since one took me into his small barn, beat me up in there. caught my head on the sill on the way out, and then drug my butt around the field for half the day with one foot stuck in the stirrup.

Hey! You stop looking at my "wares"!

Yo Summer! The side has to be painful! I don't think I have any erogenous zones! I sent you a message. He's been searching! I like to dance too. I do the Bill Cosby dance` but slower!

Maybe I'll stick to trying some tattooed hair on my bald spot!

Ewww, Micky Dee, not another road kill. I was "groovin" with you too on this ride. Why'd we have to go 60, thought we're supposed to be groovin'?

I'd like to live on one of those farm with some horses. Notice any distress sales?

Nice pose!!'t see your eyes btw, hehe.

Ya, I won't lie, I cried, especially when he got to the side part.. (where the head is) something about the erogenous zones being stabbed repeatedly with needles that weakens a girls resolve. Of course being trapped for 7 hours had something to do with it.. I would do it again though, it's going to be beautiful when it's finished.

I let him a comment and hopefully he comes out to play!

Only 40 miles? Jeeze, you may be older than me, but I guarantee your in better shape! I'm a lazy boardwalk dog walker, and an original music groupy dancer!

Before you get the eye tattooed on, I think you should try face painting it first lol, see if it "fits" ;)

Yo Summer Girl! That's got to be a little tender doesn't it? Isn't the side a bit more painful than, say, the back? I know the shin is awfully painful. Behind the knee is pretty painful. I wanted to get some hair tattooed for my bald spot. I may get "eye" tattooed on my eyelids. That way people won't try to take advantage of my while I'm asleep.

I think the pain is here to stay. It may lessen but when I ride hard, and I quite often ride hard, the pain has to be there. I rode only 40 miles today and even now after being off the bike for hours my arm feels terrible and like it could fall off. I kind of wish it would. Then I'd have a problem that docs could see.

I'll drift on over to Ken's place. I'm now worried about Dusty. He's not answered emails and such.

You know- he's really really old! I think he's a year older than I. Thank you Summer Dear!

Yo Nomoretrucks! Man I love it when you get over this way. I'm not sure it was 60. It may have been 59. It felt like 61 though! Bruce is such a nice guy. He's often told me that I should get a recumbent because of my neck and back issues. I said I have a "bread" problem too. He offered to loan me his to try it out. I wish you and I could go for a spin. I bet you know some great roads! Take care My cycling brother!

Great photos Micky! I love the tats, I just got a HUGE pheonix down my side, it's just the outline and I can't wait to get it finished! I'm sorry to hear about your pain, I wish I held healing in my hands for you, I pray it lessens for you.

I left you a comment on your shout out from Ken.. in case you don't get the "feed"... seems I'm gonna have to go get 50 to join the party!

Cheers Micky- keep riding- oh and thanks for the uplifting music.. put a smile on my face!

Thank you Ghost for supporting me. I think and thought it was strange that the road-kill presented itself as it did right after posting the "Possum" hub. There aren't many pictures of me but the reason I've taken some lately is I think I look "silly, goofy, weird". It's just a perception I have. I have no idea "where" I fit in. I'm going to do a hub about that actually. I don't feel comfortable with the way I look especially in street clothes. If clothes make the man- I'm a fraud.

      My body is a facade.

I've been hit by two cars and a truck. I've broken a lot of bones. The worst that has happened is my back has bulging discs. The VA doesn't want to operate as they don't feel really positive about it.So like on this ride things got really painful. Three of us went up Palmers Grove race pace. The harder we went the worse I got. When we got out to more level road Bruce kicked it up and held it for eternity. My neck and head hurt really bad. Pain ran down my right arm. The pain was very concentrated on the right side of my neck. The pain was overwhelming and I peeled out of the pace-line.

I take no medication for pain. There's always a side effect. And besides- the pain would always require more medication.

So- I'm goofy and I have a lot of pain. Thanks very much Ghost.God bless!
