Would someone looking to give sports commentary succeed on hubpages?
Your definitely could.
But then, you need to build your status as a commentator first.A few of your published hubs may go unnoticed, but as the number of your hubs related to these events increase, so will your popularity in this field.
I think it may depend on if you mean writing hubs describing sports in general or writing about last night's game - who won, the player's stats, etc. While you may be able to have a lot of people reading such hubs in the short term, those hubs may not get any traffic and eventually become unfeatured within a few months. So I guess the answer depends on how you measure success - having your hubs remain popular and featured or getting a large readership over the short term. I'm not trying to tell you not to write such hubs, I'm pointing out what will probably happen to them within a few months or a year.

I tried looking in the questions and forums and didn't see anything. I am not a former Squidoo person...

I'm always looking for new information that I can incorporate into the courses that I teach. I was also wondering if anyone has success making money from their history related hubs. And if...
