What ever happened to the chair shot in wrestling? It seems to be getting rarer these days.
If I remember right from reading in the newspaper they stated they were going to reduce the chair shots due to the brain damage that could be sustained. I know that is what I read in my local newspaper, yes wrestling actually made it into a mainstream newspaper!
Chair shots are still far more common in pro wrestling matches than they used to be. Maybe the WWE bookers are just trying out more creative ways to book a match.
Depends on weather you mean WWE wrestling or wrestling in general really.
If you mean in the WWE then the answer is quite simple, the WWE has recently adopted a PG policy, so a large amount of weapon shots are out of the window and saved for PPV events, rather than giving them away for free on TV.
As for the rest of the wrestling world I've not really noticed a decrease. If anything TNA have been using then more as they seem to be going more into the violence now the WWE have toned it down.
Because years ago it was mostly using a chair to win when the ref ain't looking. Now we have ladders, tables, and brass knuckles.

My scariest thing was discovering my down syndrome son had just swallowed a pinball and a dime. I immediately called 911. He ended up being okay, and has never done it since. That was when he was younger. It was one of the most scary moments he put me through.

I am in the process of cleaning up my computer after my son donwloaded - by accident - another unremovable anti spyware program. I was wondering how many others here have had this type of thing happen to their computers by children/spouses/friends etc? I'm bored waiting for all the scans to run.......
