There are many products that are bug repellant that are harmful to us. There are also unlikely products that will do the trick and not harm us. Bounce is a great product for softening clothes in the dryer, but also works to help keep insects including bees and mosquitoes away. Put a sheet of Bounce in your pocket or tie it on your belt loop and see. Spread Bounce about the foundation areas and doorways to chase away mice and other crawling insects. Bounce will take away odors from books and photo albums. It eliminates static electricity from the TV, Venetian blinds, and computer screens. Bounce dissolves soap scum from shower doors. It also freshens the air inside the closet or clothes drawer, laundry bag, and in closed trunks or suitcases. Bounce also prevents thread from tangling if you run your needle through Bounce before using it. Fishermen have also told me that rubbing Avon Skin-so-soft on their exposed skin helps keep away mosquitoes when they are fly fishing. I have also heard that baby powder spread across the door frame keeps intruding crawling insects away. Bounce, baby powder, and Skin-so-Soft are better alternatives to poison.
