How do we change our attitude to Sport?

Cultures with a drink, tv couch potato culture are less likely to win in sports than those with cultures that nurture fitness in their day to day lives.  Brazil etc. embrace dance in their culture, a nice way, motivation to get and keep fit.  Can we (english) change our lazy attitudes?

Not everyone is interested in sport.  That doesn't mean they're lazy or unfit, but simply interested in other things.

It's a waste of talent, life, hopes and dreams to sit in a pub for hours on end just drinking life away.  Same with TV.
We owe it to ourselves, even if we're not interested in Sport to stay as active as possible to keep healthy longer.  That way nhs wouldn't be in crisis, taxes might then go a bit lower, who knows we might as a society be happier??
