Is it just me, or is there something invariably wrong with the way the NFL playoffs work out?
When you have a "weak division" i.e. the NFC west, where Seattle or St. Lois with 6 - 8 records, but one of them MUST make the playoffs because of the divisional setup. Where as teams like New Orleans, and Baltimore are fighting for there playoff lives because they play in stronger Divisions. Just doesn't seem fair.
I don't think so. This year just happens to be a little odd with one weak division. So a couple better teams won't get in and a team with a losing record will. That's ok with me.
But what if it was not REQUIRED to take one team from each division. I just think that better teams making the playoffs will make it all more interesting. I hate seeing low record teams making it to the playoffs knowing they're going to get blown out in the wildcard anyway. I mean does anyone actually BELIEVE that St. Lois has a shot at beating anyone in the playoffs?
Probably not fair but that is the fact. I have been loosing my bets ... observing the masters at CappersIsland.com didn't help too. Interacting with the masters would have helped
It is what it is. Remember a couple years ago when NE was 11-5 but did not make the playoffs and SD who was 8-8 did? Sometimes it just takes a team that gets hot at the right time and they can go all the way. This is the system and let's see who comes out on top!
