Mine was Louis Murphy.
Biggest disappointment there were a lot but Steve Slaton... and Rivers cost me a few games when I had Flacco on my bench!
maybe it's cause im from Delaware, but why bench Flacco? Besides getting deep into the playoffs as a rookie he's on a team with an incredible defense which means not a lot of pressure to put up high numbers.

He was decent last season not a stud. But this year he could explode!
Well I was in the library from 12pm-10pm on Sunday But I have been watching college. And the FSU v. UM game was amazing
Great week, until the very last play. Life long Raiders fan. Biggest suprise, I am was actually suprised that I was suprised.
Pats started out lookin' mighty rusty, but pulled out an exciting win in the end.
Hey, any W is a W.
It was a strange first week of football. Usually the first of NFL brings about a couple of surprises, but there seems to be several this year.
Hated to see Brian Urlacher get hurt and now miss the entire season.
And Slaton....he hurt my fantasy team big time.
Yeah every running back with a household name was a dud except AP.Grr Slaton had a mere 9 carries.
On the bright side I was 12-4 picking winning teams
I blame the announcers for the Urlacher injury. They were saying how it is the healthy he has been. Its like when they say this kicker hasn't missed a game winning kick ever, then he misses.
I know what you mean. But, from experience I know the stars of football will rebound. At least in one of my leagues I don't have to face the team with AP for a while now. lol
Yes they will! I have bragging rights on the lines next week. I need portis and action jackson to produce.

Still early in the NFL 2009 season. The early surprises are the Denver Broncos at 5-0, Cincinnati Bengals 4-1. I did expect Cincinnati to be vastly improved, but not this much by the victories they have acheived. Denver, well...beating Cincy was on a fluke play and the Cowboys (Cowboys are not all...

What baseball teams have been the biggest surprise and disappointment in 2012?Which team has been playing much better than you thought and which one is playing worse? Why do you feel this way?

Somebody please explain it to me. Last week, I almost didn't bet the Patriots getting three points because I thought they bookies must know something I don't. Fortunately, I did go ahead and take it (along with the Redskins on a parlay) and it was easy money. Now, they are giving 3 1/2 pts. to the...

Every so often you put a huge amount of effort in to a Hub, and no matter what you do, it just never takes off.For example, I wrote a Discworld Hub recently, it was never really intended to make much, but I love the Discworld series. Neverthless, a week off on-off work, near 8000 words, and I...

Its week 9 and The Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints are the only 2 teams that remain undefeated. Based on their match ups for this weekend it seems that they will remain that way for one more week. Any thoughts? As for the rest of the NFL . . .Can the Titans upset the 49ers? Will the...
