Guess I'm boring.  Hybrid bass weighing in at six or seven pounds.  It usually takes one person to get one to shore, and another to get it out of the water.  So it's a team effort.

If you use strong enough line to get it out of the water - then the line is too big, and the fish can see it.  So you have to use line weak enough to be close to invisible, and just get it to shore, and NOT try to lift it out of the water.  Hybrids put up a HUGE fight.

Fifteen pound bluefish, from a jetty, in early November. It took about ten minutes to get close enough to gaff. Very challenging as I was a good fifteen feet about the water and had relatively light fishing line.

I'll throw in probably the smallest out of any following post, but I'll write it anyhow.
Only been fishing about three times, so my max is a 16in flounder.
