Plaxico Burress was sentenced to two years in prison today for violating New York's gun laws. He was convicted of carrying a loaded weapon he was in a nightclub when the gun, stuffed in his waistband, dropped and fired. Burress was the only person wounded.
Do you think the punishment fits the crime?
Broke the law. Pay the price. If we don't like the price, we need to change the law. Not just administer it more lightly in certain circumstances. It really is horrible for him. I can't imagine.
No it does not. But you have quite a few idiotic laws in this country.
