Absolutely! I don't have the time to get the training nor probably the vision to pass the physical. Since I couldn't fly, I decided I would pay to have one of my adult sons learn how to do it.
May dream would be that he would get enough experience to pick us up at our small town general aviation airport and fly us to where ever we wanted to go. No more trips to an airport, lines, scans, pat downs, etc. If he could learn how to fly a float plane, he could pick me up a few miles from my home and drop me off at the dock at our camp in Maine.
