Just heard something shocking. The Yankees have still won more games this November than the Jets, Giants and Knicks combined.
    Think that lead will hold?

I hope he has an appetite come Monday morning...On the same token, I hope the Redskins do beat the Cowboys.  We need to regain the NFC East.

Hopefully, we can keep the crying to a minimum in here. We know how you New Yorkers get all teary and emotional and then start drunk calling other coaches begging for advice.

Knicks won . . . woo hoo! The Nets just had to be that bad this year that they make the Knicks look like a real team!
Still a couple hrs before the Giants play . . . we'll see.

lol knicks win..a game of bad playing worse.....but lets not get away from the real bottom line here...

If the Giants win today . .will you be ready to eat some crow I am ready to prepare for your breakfast tomorrow . . (of course should a miracle happen and the Jets pull out a win you will have to eat a double portion)

I'd have to eat crow for what? I'm a Giants and Jets fan. I want them to win. I was only asking "IF" and what people's predictions are. I don't know where you got the impression I was rooting against the NY teams.

No worries. I just thought the fact was shocking. The Yankees, being a baseball team, were not meant to play in November. Because of the ridiculousness of sports broadcasting nowadays, the WS bleeds over into November. And if the Knicks could overcome whatever curse was put on them, this stat wouldn't exist.

Go Giants! I guess the Jets can wait for me!

dohn121posted 14 years agoin reply to this

No style points for Tyne's kick!  Can the Giants get any more easy wins this year?

Wow...I've never been so happy to go 6-4.  However, we're banged up and have to play in only 4 days yikes

BTW, best game for Eli at Giants Stadium.  Once again, the Giants secondary tried to lose this game for us.  Having Aaron Ross back IS a good thing...But what about Pierce being out indefinitely for the next 6 weeks?  Geez.

If they aren't going to do the right thing and lose the game, the least they could do is cover the spread. Dallas is another one.

CBS cut away in overtime, while NY was driving for the winning field goal to show the start of the SD/Den game. I had to watch the end on the internets. How stupid is that?

  13. Jonathan Janco profile image60

Luckily, they got that gimme touchdown on ST, but Filthy Sanchez isn't helping!
As I wrote that, he actually threw a TD pass! With that in mind, I should rag on him the whole rest of the game!

                "she" must be awfully special.
So, then, the verdict is we're both rooting against the Pats.
And do they have to bring back that lousy Biz Markie song? I got that one out of my head yrs ago.
